Wirtz, Salah and Van Dijk are all under contract at Liverpool
Liverpool have one of the strongest squads in the Premier League – and TEAMtalk have provided a detailed breakdown of each player’s contract.
Arne Slot replaced Jurgen Klopp in the Anfield dugout in 2024 and inherited a very talented and experienced group of players, which went on to win the 2024/25 Premier League title.
Slot made just two first-team signings in his first summer – although the arrival of one of them was delayed by a year – but they more than made up for it in the last transfer window.
We’ve taken a look at the key contract details for every first-team player at Liverpool.

Frimpong became the first new Liverpool arrival of the summer transfer window after making the switch from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.
The Reds triggered the £29.6million release clause in his contract, and the right-back will fill the void left by Trent Alexander-Arnold’s departure.
They then returned to Leverkusen to sign Wirtz in a deal worth an initial £100million and another £16million in add-ons. Like Frimpong, he has also signed a five-year contract on Merseyside.
Kerkez joined the Reds from Bournemouth in a £40million and they also signed Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth an initial £69million and £10million in add-ons.
Liverpool completed their business by signing Leoni from Parma and then forked out a British record £125million to buy Isak from Newcastle United.
“This is the next step for me in my career,” Isak said after signing a six-year contract. “I’m super happy that I’ve been given this chance and I’m very motivated to do something well with it.
“I want to create history. I want to win trophies. That’s ultimately the biggest motivation for me. This is the perfect place for me to grow even further and to take my game to the next level and help the team as well.”
Alongside their new signings, Liverpool managed to tie Salah and Van Dijk down to new two-year contracts after months of speculation.
But Konate has now entered the final year of his contract at Anfield and is understood to have rejected Liverpool’s initial offer of an extension.

The total wage bill at Liverpool is currently estimated to be in the region of £2.97million-per-week, which equates to £154.4million-per-year.
It is currently the third-highest wage bill in the Premier League, behind Manchester City and Manchester United.
Salah became the highest-paid player in Liverpool history when he signed a three-year contract worth around £350,000-per-week in June 2022.
The Egypt international has since got another pay rise, with his new contract believed to be worth £400,000-per-week.
Van Dijk is their second-highest earner and he also got a pay rise with his new contract, going from £220,000-per-week to £350,000-per-week.
The Netherlands international can earn an additional £50,000-per-week in bonuses, which would make him the highest-paid defender in Europe’s top five leagues.
Summer signings Isak, Ekitike and Wirtz make up the rest of the top five. The former can earn an extra £20,000-per-week through bonuses, while the other two can add another £50,000 to their weekly salary.
Mac Allister, Szoboszlai and Chiesa are the only other players with performance-related bonuses in their contracts and they can all earn an additional £30,000-per-week.
Konate (£70,000), Elliott (£40,000) and Jones (£15,000) are on surprisingly low weekly wages despite the fact that they are all first-team regulars.
