Former Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has reached an agreement on personal terms to join Turkish club Besiktas following his departure from Anfield. The thirty four year old Egyptian winger became a free agent this summer after completing nine historic seasons with the English Premier League giants.

Besiktas offered the experienced forward a contract worth twelve point five million euros per year in base salary to secure his signing. His representative Rammy Abbas met with club leaders in Istanbul to resolve final commission details and finalize the image rights deal.
