Will Ireland Automatically Qualify for Euro 2028?
No host team gets automatic entry. Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales must all play in the main qualifiers.
UEFA built a safety net for host teams. Two spots are saved for the two best-ranked host nations that fail to qualify on merit.
