Paris Saint-Germain Sign Spain World Cup Hero Ferran Torres from Barcelona in €50m Deal

Paris Saint-Germain
have officially announced the signing of Spain international forward
Ferran Torres from Barcelona on a five-year contract running through June 2031.

The reigning Ligue 1 and European champions secured the 26-year-old for a fee of €50 million (£42.7m), bolstering manager Luis Enrique's frontline ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Torres reunites with former Spain national team manager Luis Enrique, who gave the forward his international debut.

The move comes shortly after Torres scored the extra-time winning goal for Spain against Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.

Torres scored 21 goals in 49 appearances across all competitions for Barcelona last season, helping the Catalan side retain their La Liga title.

Barça Financial Leverage: The €50m sale provides Barcelona with crucial Financial Fair Play headroom as they pursue further summer transfer targets.
