Stuart Pearce's son Harley has tragically passed away at the age of 21.
Harley Pearce was involved in a tractor crash near his family home in Wiltshire last Thursday.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Old Birdlip Hill, A417, in Witcombe.
Gloucestershire Police confirmed a man in his 20's died at the scene as a result of the single-vehicle collision.
In a statement released, they appealed to the public to get in touch with investigating officers if they had witnessed the incident.
The 21-year-old is one of two children talkSPORT commentator Pearce has with his ex-wife Liz, with the former couple also having older daughter Chelsea from their 20-year marriage.
It's understood that both Pearce and Liz are being supported by specialist officers.
Harley, who ran his own company - Harley Pearce Agricultural Service - worked on a variety of farms across the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire border.
A family tribute from Harley's family read: "Our family is truly shocked and utterly heartbroken at the loss of our cherished son and devoted brother, Harley.
"A soul who left an unforgettable imprint on all who knew him.
"He was a golden boy with an infectious smile, and this shocking tragedy will leave a huge hole in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
"With a quiet, understated strength and deep kindness, we are so proud of the young man he had become, exhibiting a wonderful work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit in the farming industry.
"He will always be our shining star. Rest in Peace, our beautiful son and brother. You will never ever be forgotten."
News of Harley's tragic passing led talkSPORT co-host Jim White to issue a heartfelt message live on air.
He said: "It goes without saying everybody here on this show and at talkSPORT sends our heartfelt condolences to the family of Stuart Pearce after that tragic news we've just heard."
Stuart Pearce's former club Nottingham Forest wrote on X: "We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Harley Pearce.
"The thoughts of everyone connected with Nottingham Forest are with Stuart and his family at this truly difficult time."
Pearce once told talkSPORT of a touching story about how he helped Harley win his school fantasy league - thanks to the help of Sir Alex Ferguson.
The England legend remarked in 2020: "I did fantasy football with my son Harley, who was eight years old at the time.
"And they did it at the school with all the kids and all the teachers and we worked our way up the league to that final week where it was my son Harley and the headmaster were neck and neck.
"There was one point in it at the top of the table. I think we were one point behind.
“I picked the phone up to Alex Ferguson on the Wednesday before this game on the Saturday and I asked him the question under the guise of the England Under-21 manager.
“Who are you going to be playing, [Phil] Jones or [Chris] Smalling at the back? I’m thinking of coming to the game to watch them.
“He told me which one he was going to play. I transferred a player and that player went into our fantasy team.
